Family Updates
Many sudden changes,
many miraculous blessings!  This year of 2008 has been
a year of ups and downs, highs and lows. It
started with the sudden death on January 12th of
Melissa's beloved mother, Sylvia Wukasch, her
mentor and 'hero'. Her loss has been greatly
felt by many people, but we rejoice that she is
where she longed to be - in the arms of Jesus.
She had also longed to see the fourth generation
of her family line, and barely two weeks before
her death, she heard the good news that a new
life was coming into the world, Jessica and
Jason (her granddaughter and grandson-in-law)
were going to have a baby in June! She was able
to bless the baby with a great- grandmother's
blessing at Christmastime, and rejoice as Anna
did over the birth of Jesus! Then she went to be
with her Lord, and her blessing grew and grew.
Another 'suddenly' happened
in our family when Jessica went into early
labour almost a month before her due date.
Abigail Kaelyn Gray was born just four hours
after Mother's Day (and coincidentally her
daddy's birthday) on May 12th. Exactly four
months after our great loss, God gave us a great
gift, a Mother's Day gift. She was born at 5 lb.
13 oz., and has been gaining weight rapidly
since then, healthy and beautiful! Truly,
every good and perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of heavenly lights,
who does not change like shifting shadows. He
chose to give us birth through the word of
truth. James 1:17, 18

This spring, Terry visited
Bangladesh, (just before the cyclone happened a
few hundred KMs away from Myanmar). He had the
opportunity to pray for and baptize many brand
new believers who had also been victims of a
recent cyclone.
